Braving the Night Rain

Rain. What do you think of when you hear this word?

Rain to some may be a good or bad thing. Rain can mean new life to plantation, while it can also cause disastrous floods.

Rain can mean washing away the old and the pain of yesterday and bringing change. It can mean sadness and tears to some, but after each storm, comes a sunny day, which will bring light to every corner, and even hopes of a rainbow.

Braving the Night Rain by Danny Santos II:

Do you run when you see the rain fall, or do you enjoy its every drop?

The Rain by William Henry Davies:
I hear leaves drinking rain;
I hear rich leaves on top
Giving the poor beneath
Drop after drop;
‘Tis a sweet noise to hear
These green leaves drinking near.And when the Sun comes out,
After this Rain shall stop,
A wondrous Light will fill
Each dark, round drop;
I hope the Sun shines bright;
‘Twill be a lovely sight.
